In Infotec Brasil, we believe that the positive impacts of our actions in the society go hand in hand with our purpose of optimizing the results of our customers with our solutions and services. Based on this idea and on the alignment of our value of sustainability, we developed, together with our employees, transforming initiatives to promote social, economic and environmental balance.
Social Responsibility
When we talk about Social Responsibility, we refer to a set of actions aiming at ensuring full access to citizenship and education. With this in mind, since August 2020, we have joined the culture fund of the city of Rio de Janeiro, with the aim of allocating part of the taxes to sponsor initiatives, such as Gentilezinha, for example. The project GENTILEZINHA seeks, through theater shows, coloring booklets and social networks, to transmit civic values to public school students, residents of communities and visitors to public squares. At each new edition, out values are spread. So far, the initiative has already impacted 15,000 kids with 120 theater shows, distributed 23,000 coloring booklets and generates more than 10,000 views of the Gentilezinha Show episodes, sponsored by Infotec Brasil.
The project CESTOU Infotec Brasil is an initiative to help Brazilian homes that face financial and survival difficulties. Since the beginning of the project, more than 260 people have been assisted in 32 different cities.
Infotec Brasil makes donations to help social and community projects. More than 450 books have been donated, besides furniture items, demobilized from contracts, to 12 different organizations, assisting more than 1,780 people. Our goal is to increasingly expand the impact of these actions and expand the areas of action.
Environmental Responsibility
Electronic waste is today one of the main challenges when it comes to building a sustainable society. In order to contribute to the reduction of the environmental impact, Infotec Brasil carries out actions to use electronic items and reuse materials that would otherwise be discarded, as well as promotes conscious consumption initiatives. We created the program “I was an PPE” with the aim of reducing the volume of incineration of uniforms and equipment that would otherwise be discarded, transforming these materials into pieces that can be used on a daily basis, such as bags, backpacks and much more. Since the beginning of the project, more than 300 pieces have been produced, in a partnership with an NGO that promotes cutting and sewing workshops, also increasing the employability.
Infotec Brasil donates desktops, computer screens and peripherals, demobilized from contracts, to entities that operate with professional training of young people and preparation to ENEM (Brazilian National High School Exam). Since its implementation, the initiative has already positively impacted 7 entities and made more than 350 pieces of equipment available.
Another important initiative of Infotec Brasil in the area of environmental responsibility is our incentive to the sustainable use of water, lighting and recycling resources in our offices throughout Brazil, also counting with awareness policies for employees, suppliers and partners.
Corporate Governance
Our corporate governance is responsible for optimizing processes, policies and practices to ensure the compliance with the company’s goals and application of the Integrated Management System (IMS). It was built and runs based on the Integrated Management System – IMS, with Certifications that support us in developing and controlling functional processes in an intelligent way, guaranteeing excellence in service management.
